The UCD Families Tree
Is yours a Campus Family? Have multiple members of your family attended the University? If so, we want to hear from you for the next issue of UCD Connections ...
Making a Connection In any discussion about UCD, you’ll hear the same names coming up over and over. “Ah, yes, the Bolgers (six siblings attended at one time, and their mother!), the Bouchier-Hayeses; the writer Emma Donoghue (father Denis is Professor of English); Irish Times writer Caroline Walsh (her mother was Mary Lavin) ... Don’t forget the Quinns: Ruairi, Feargal, Lochlann ... and the FitzGeralds, Garret and Joan of course, and sons, Mark and John ...” And so it goes on. In the next issue, we want to feature those families for whom UCD represents tradition as well as education.
